Laser Dentistry

Laser dentistry is one of the newest developments in the dental field. Laser surgery is used in conjunction with traditional dental procedures. Lasers frequently augment conventional techniques, making them safer and more effective. Since laser dentistry is typically less painful than many traditional methods, a great number of patients prefer this technique. Procedures can be performed without the use of sutures and healing times are often greatly improved. In some applications, this can even be accomplished without the need for local anesthesia.

Digital Impressions

Computerized Bite Analysis

For years, dental occlusal analysis has been largely a matter of guesswork for dentists. Articulation paper, waxes, pressure indicator paste, etc. were all dentists had to assess and balance the occlusal forces. Most of these methods are not sensitive enough to detect simultaneous contact, and none measure both biting time and force. The T-Scan system is a valuable tool that aids in the diagnostic process of analyzing a patient's bite to show what is and what is not functioning properly. When a bite is unstable it can cause pain, broken restorations, gum disease, tooth loss, headaches and TMJ disorder.

Digital Xrays

At Absolue Aesthetic and Restorative we always put the health and concerns of our patients first. It is for this reason we choose to take digital x-rays as opposed to conventional xrays. The main advantage to digital x-rays is that they require 90% less radiation than conventional x-rays. Whether the concern is comfort, speed, or eco-friendliness, having the technology to take digital x-rays is a feature patients visiting us for either cosmetic or general oral health concerns really appreciate.

In addition to the above for patient comfort, televisions are available at all dental chairs. We also serve coffee, tea and have snacks present.
