New Patient Experience
Dr. Larsen and his staff believe that relationships are an important part of successfully achieving and maintaining your dental health. For this reason, Dr. Larsen is available for consults at no charge prior to your first appointment. This will give you the chance to meet the doctor and staff, in addition to communicating your dental goals and needs. |
The following will be completed during your initial evaluation:
- Review of your medical and dental history
- Clarification of your concerns, expectations and/or problems
- Oral cancer examination
- Dental examination evaluating the condition of your teeth and/or restorations
- Periodontal examination of your gums
- Tempromandibular joint examination
- Muscle examination
- Occlusal (bite) examination (Computerized analysis)
- Radiographs diagnostic casts, facebow and centric bite records
- Photographs for diagnostic purposes
Dr. Larsen will take the time to evaluate all of the above information carefully, consult with any specialists, if indicated, make a specific diagnosis for your current condition and design a blueprint for your care with diagnostic casts. An individualized long-term treatment program will be designed and discussed with you fully at a future appointment. Above all, we want you to be informed and involved and feel the decisions you make are in your best interest. |
Dental Insurance
Our goal is to help you achieve and maintain optimal dental health. Many dental insurance plans that are selected by consumers have a maximum annual benefit of $1000.00. Once the dollar limitation is reached no other services will be covered no matter how essential they may be. Also some services are typically not covered such as cosmetic dentistry, implants, occlusion or bite redesign. We recommend treatment based on your needs and will discuss necessary treatment options and finances with you during a consultation prior to beginning your dental treatment.
Due to the above we are a "fee for service" practice. The patient is responsible for payment as treatment is completed. Our office will assist you in maximizing your insurance benefits. Upon request we can complete a pre-estimate claim form for you to submit prior to starting treatment. Our office will also complete dental insurance claim forms when treatment is completed for you to submit to your insurance company for direct reimbursement.
Payment Options
We are advocates for patients to achieve dental health for a lifetime; therefore we offer different payment options to fit each person's needs. We accept cash, checks, debit, and credit cards for payment at time of service or offer a third party financing option with Capital One or Care Credit. Through the outside lenders we offer a 12-month interest free payment option for your new smile!
